Located 29 km from Aurangabad in Maharashtra, India, Ellora’s caves are carved into the cliffs of the Charanandri hills. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, it remains one of Maharashtra’s most frequented ancient monuments. The coexistence of various religious structures exemplifies the historical tolerance and cultural diversity of India.
